From a Notion register to a platform

What began as a Notion-based inventory register has grown into MAIMS, a custom platform for tracking equipment, generating labels and managing resources through QR codes. One of its largest components is AutoPrint, which connects the lab's 3D-printer fleet into a single system.

Every print, tracked and rated

Every job through the fleet is logged, not just whether it finished but how it went. Rate a print once it's done, and the system builds up failure rates and performance history for each printer over time, so you know which machine keeps jamming and which is reliable for long jobs.

Queue a job, watch it run

Upload G-code and send it straight to a Bambu or Prusa printer without leaving the app. The queue shows what's running, waiting and finished, so nobody double-books a build plate. Jobs move through the system the same way regardless of printer ecosystem.

See the print farm from anywhere

Live camera feeds let you check on a print without walking over to the printer. If a build plate needs clearing or something goes wrong mid-job, you'll know before it wastes hours of filament. AutoPrint is also the foundation for future automation of the printing pipeline, including scheduling, printer selection and material handling.
